La Buena Vida

Shifting gears

back to something so familiar

and making it new--

Taking what you've learned and

adding that to what you already know.

I think that must be growth.

It seems like sometimes we have to change directions

first this way then that way.

I changed direction at the end of the year---

started opening up with the desert landscapes.

A short detour with "The Day of the Dead"

And now I find myself back in familiar territory

but with a new perspective.
